Whether I’m crafting a branded campaign, video script, pitch deck, editorial feature, press release or web copy, you’ll find me testing my words out loud, listening for the best turn of phrase, the right hook, alluring alliteration or enticing assonance. It helps that I have a background in graphic design and voice over. These pocket skills help me make the right word choices for just the right occasion.
I’ve headed up copy direction and brand storytelling for branding and design agencies, and served as the go-to in-house writer for clients across the country and beyond. I co-founded the language-learning company MamaLingua and completed Capital Factory’s accelerator for entrepreneurs.
Before taking my turn on the dance floors of Austin, TX, I took to traveling. I’ve lived in Canada, Costa Rica, Hungary, Nepal and Switzerland. My early career adventures included antique furniture restoration and leading treks in the high Himalaya. These diverse experiences have helped me become a good listener, and in turn, an effective communicator and collaborator.
